About Kitehill Commercial Capital
Is Kitehill Commercial Capital a lender?
No. Kitehill Commercial Capital is a broker, not a lender. The disclosures explain the relationship.
Why is the word Capital in the name?
It is the business name. It does not mean we lend capital. We arrange introductions to lending partners and funders.
Where are you located?
101 W Court St, Greenville, SC 29601, in downtown Greenville. Phone (864) 302-0567. Contact details include a map link.
Do you work with businesses outside Greenville, SC?
Yes, across Greenville County and nearby Upstate towns, by phone, online and at the office. Communities we work with are listed with local figures.
Choosing funding
Which funding type should I choose?
Start with what the money will buy and how it comes back. The comparison of all six types sets them side by side.
Is a merchant cash advance a loan?
No. It is a purchase of future receivables, collected from sales or by scheduled debits. How advances work explains holdbacks, factors and stacking.
Can business loan money go toward paying myself?
Partners set rules on how funds may be used, and most expect business funding to go to business costs such as payroll, stock, equipment or expansion. Owner draws are generally a poor use of borrowed money, because the business has to repay it from profits that were not there to pay you in the first place. Say plainly what the funds are for.
Is a personal loan a good way to fund my business?
We do not arrange personal loans. Mixing personal credit with business costs makes records harder to read, and business funding is assessed on the business's own accounts. A first step for a new business is often building those accounts; the South Carolina loan checklist covers the basics.
Do you offer SBA loans or grants?
No. SBA loans come from banks and approved lenders, and grants are not something Kitehill provides. The Upstate resource directory points to the SBA South Carolina District Office and free advisers.
Applying
Can an LLC get a business loan?
Yes. LLCs are among the most common borrowers. Partners will ask for the LLC's registration details, its bank statements and, often, a personal guarantee from the members.
What documents should I have ready?
Recent business bank statements, entity details, ownership information, a description of what the money is for and, for larger requests, tax returns or financial statements. How a request moves shows where each comes in.
Will a partner check my credit?
Most do, for the business and often its owners. A partner should tell you what kind of inquiry it will make before you authorize it.
Can you say whether I will be approved?
No. Only the lending partner decides. Be cautious of anyone who claims to know in advance.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. Every offer is yours to accept or decline.
